5 Ways to Find Your Target Companies
1. Use ChatGPT
Use ChatGPT to identify companies youâre interested in. Specify any sort of details youâd like, such as company size, location, industry etc.
For exampleâŚ
Prompt: I want to be a Product Marketing Manager. And Iâm looking for technology companies with 500-1000 employees in the US. Can you give me a list of 15 companies I should look into? Can you create a table of three columns. The first with the company names, the second with the company descriptions, and the third with the company websites.
Here are the results:
2. Job Boards
Use job boards like indeed, monster, zip recruiter etc.
And search for your target role / level.
Filter for companies in your target industry. The results will be companies that are hiring for your role. Another great way to find your target companies.
3. LinkedIn
Go to LinkedIn search and filter for companies.
Filter for your target location, industry, company size etc. and hit âshow resultsâ
For exampleâŚ
4. Google
Simply search for companies on GoogleâŚ
Filter for your target industry, size etc.
âFinancial services companies in the US from 500-1000 employeesâ
Youâll get a few lists of companies you may be interested in.
5. H1B Database
Go to the H1B database and search for your target role.
Youâll get a list of companies that sponsor immigrants in the US. And you can add them to your target list of companies.
